This Privacy Policy describes how Esprit Labs Inc. (“Esprit Labs,” “we,” “us,” or “our”), the operator of the Trident product, collects, uses, and shares information when you visit our websites or use our services (the “Services”).
If you are an end user whose employer is a Trident customer, the information we process on your employer’s behalf is governed by the agreement between Esprit Labs and your employer. Please also refer to your employer’s privacy policy.
Information we collect
Information you provide
- Account information — name, work email, company, role, and authentication identifiers when you create or are invited to a Trident account.
- Communications — content of your messages to us (sales inquiries, support requests, vulnerability disclosures).
- Marketing inputs — information you submit through forms such as a demo request.
Information collected automatically
- Service usage — pages viewed, features used, aggregated telemetry, and error data, used for service operation and improvement.
- Device and network information — IP address, user agent, and similar request metadata, used for security and abuse prevention.
Customer Data
When a customer uses Trident to monitor their own cloud environments and AI agents, Trident processes the data the customer connects (the “Customer Data”). Esprit Labs acts as a processor of Customer Data and processes it only as instructed by the customer under their subscription agreement.
How we use information
- To provide, secure, and improve the Services.
- To communicate about the Services, including account, billing, and security notices.
- To respond to requests, inquiries, and to provide customer support.
- To detect, prevent, and investigate security incidents, fraud, or abuse.
- To comply with legal obligations and enforce our agreements.
We do not sell personal information, and we do not use Customer Data to train third-party general-purpose AI models.
Retention and deletion
We retain information only as long as needed to provide the Services, meet legitimate business needs, comply with legal obligations, and resolve disputes. Customer Data is retained for the duration of the customer subscription and deleted as described in the subscription agreement. Customers may request deletion of their Customer Data at any time by writing to junaid@usetrident.dev.
Security
Esprit Labs maintains administrative, technical, and physical safeguards designed to protect information against unauthorized access, alteration, disclosure, or destruction. See our Security page for an overview of our security program, including our SOC 2 status.
Your rights
Depending on your location, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, or restrict the use of personal information we hold about you, and to object to processing or withdraw consent where applicable. You can exercise these rights by emailing junaid@usetrident.dev. We may verify your identity before responding.
International transfers
Esprit Labs is headquartered in the United States. Information we process may be transferred to and processed in the United States or other countries where we or our service providers operate, subject to appropriate safeguards as required by applicable law.
Children
The Services are not directed to children under 16, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided us personal information, please contact us so we can take appropriate action.
Changes
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Material changes will be communicated to active customers and posted on this page with an updated effective date.
